Your passion in life?

« My 2 passions are my family and reading. Recently, I’ve been reading a lot of thrillers. I also love the great classics. My favourite author is Dostoyevsky, a creator of fascinating and complex characters.».

Your favorite in the south of France?

« I really liked the village of Oppède-le-vieux, which you can only reach on foot, giving you the feeling of entering an unspoilt, secret place. I love its timeless charm, with its stone streets. ».

3 tourist experiences in the region that you particularly like?

  • Canoe down the Cèze valley, which is quieter and wilder than the Gardon. After the descent, the icing on the cake is a drink or ice cream in the village of Goudargues and its central mirror canal.
  • The Val d’Enfer hike, which takes you around the village of Les Baux-de-Provence from a multitude of different viewpoints.
  • Climb up to the Château de Gicon, starting from the Chapelle Sainte-Madeleine. The walk, which isn’t too long, allows you to immerse yourself in nature. The place is very photogenic. A historic site that invites you to relax and reflect. A peaceful place to relax.

Your advice for our guests?

« Vary your experiences – nature, historical visits, etc. – to discover all the beauty of the region. Take the time to stop off at a café, a bakery, a restaurant or a winery, to feel the atmosphere and discover the culinary arts and good local produce.  »

Music found in your travel playlist?

“I love everything Imagine Dragons, of course Bad lyer, Believer, Natural.”

Your little grain of madness?

Good music makes you want to dance, and I’m the first on the dancefloor.

Your favorite local dish?

“A Provençal ratatouille with a good glass of Château Virant (cuvée des Oliviers), a lovely wine from the Côteaux d’Aix-en-Provence. “

If you were a tourist attraction in the region...

Les carrières de lumières, for its authenticity, for new discoveries on every visit, and for its wide-open spaces that have the art of making you discover the most beautiful works in a different way. And not least, it’s a refreshing place to be in summer.
