MEETING WITH

Sylvia

Your passion in life?

“I really like Animals and Nature but my real passion is horse riding. We forget all the little worries on the back of a horse. “The greatest happiness on earth is found on horseback” (German saying)”

Your favorite in the south of France?

“The Toulourenc gorges: a very beautiful walk where you walk with your feet in the water for 4 to 5 km (one way). The scenery is magnificent with a succession of small canyons and small waterfalls.”

3 tourist experiences in the region that you particularly like?

  • A horseback ride in the Camargue in the middle of marshes and herds
  • Hiking in the Provençal Colorado of Rustrel – avoid in wet weather
  • Discover Fontaine-de-Vaucluse and its abyss – never the same…

Your advice for our guests?

“Don’t be in a hurry! There are many things to do in our beautiful region and it takes time. Take a break in the shade of a plane tree, listening to the cicadas chirping and sipping a PAC at the water.”

Music found in your travel playlist?

“Lady Gaga – Always Remember Us This Way”

Your little grain of madness?

“Dancing! I’ve never taken dance lessons so I improvise…preferably to Latin pop!”

Your favorite local dish?

“The “Daube Provençale” that we taste on winter evenings.”

If you were a tourist attraction in the region...

“The Calanques National Park for the beauty of the Mediterranean flora, the limestone cliffs and the deep blue of the sea in the background.”
